I received this awesome card along with some stunning flower arrangements, festive balloons, sweet macaroons and more from my amazing family and friends in celebration of my engagement to my roomie and love of my life, Dave.
He proposed with my maternal grandmother’s stone, which I had reset in a classic solitaire setting. I love that I’m the third generation to wear it and look forward to passing it down to my grandchildren when it’s their turn to get hitched.
As 2011 nears and this rollercoaster of a year comes to a close, I can’t wait to start planning an elegant affair and sharing some of the details with you. I’m in serious need of inspiration, so let me know what your favourite wedding blogs are in the comments!
