The boy and I are heading out east in a couple of weeks to visit Halifax and other quaint east coast destinations for some good ol'fashioned R&R. It may seem like a random choice, but it's apparently breathtaking in the summer (and budget-wise too!)
Does anyone have any personal picks for places to stay/eat/visit in this region? Right now we're thinking about driving to Cape Breton for a bit and staying in downtown Halifax for a couple of nights, with fun day trips thrown in between.
