Holla! for Hollace Cluny

While sourcing some decorative objects for a client looking to dress a large built-in unit, I popped into Toronto shop Hollace Cluny to gander at their gorgeous artisan bowls, vases and sculpture. In addition to the expected accessories, I was pleasantly surprised to see kick-ass modern furniture, cushions and more, especially the items in this super cool display:

The hour glass stool by R S Ceramics ($1,950) is so funky! It pops even more with the bright blue Jielde Desk Lamp ($425).

In the Deep with Barbara Cole

A former career as a fashion editor for The Toronto Sun led Barbara Cole to hone her photography skills and eventually open her own studio in the early eighties. Her latest collection White NOise  focuses on subjects photographed under water and is being shown at Gallery 345 in Toronto from October 16 - November 2.

Weekend Cocktail #25: Passion fruit Sparkler

This Real Simple recipe is well, real simple…it’s just the garnish that makes it fancy looking!

(PS- the garnish is essentially a rip off  of the west elm caterer’s genius idea from the opening party so I take zero credit)

Passion fruit Sparkler

• 2 parts prosecco
• 1 part passion fruit juice
• Blackberry
• Sprig of rosemary

1. Pour passion fruit juice into champagne flute.
2. Add chilled prosecco.
3. Garnish with rosemary and blackberry
