Checkerboard floors, black and white stripes and a gigantic cameo, what else would you expect for a New York outpost from someone who crafts purses fashioned to look like boxes of chocolates and scalloped shells and pursed lips?
Located at 394 Bleecker near Marc by Marc Jacobs, the NYC Lulu Guinness store is Paris Apartment chic in every way! I wasn't allowed to take too many photos so you'll have to trust that the store is divinely designed.
The only thing that gave me pause though was that Lulu's designs for the Rug Company weren't showcased...
Glamour Girl would have popped against the black and white floor
And Canvas Rose would complement the black and white palette beautifully.
