Every four to five years the Junior League of Toronto partners with Toronto's design community for a Showhouse to fundraise for community causes. This year the showhouse is revitalizing popular event venue McLean House at the Estates of Sunnybrook (funny enough my mom remembers visiting the showhouse at the same place when they did it over 20 years ago!)
The design firm I work with didn’t luck out with the greatest room to work with, but I think visitors will be surprised by what we’ve done with the place. I’ve spent quite a few hours there watching the house evolve so I’m excited that it will be open to the public starting this Friday!
If you’re in the Toronto-area or within driving distance to the city it’s definitely worth a visit! Money raised benefits the women and babies program at Sunnybrook hospital and the house is open until May 31st.

i got the guide in the new issue of house & home. it looks like a great house to walk through - to see all the work done by the various design firms.
i think i'm gonna check it out before the 31st.
