Ryan McGinley Photography

I was recently introduced to the work of New York-based photographer Ryan McGinley via Paul Pincus. I don't pretend to know tons of about photography, but I do know what I like, and I'm loving the dream-like shots from his most recent collection: I Know Where the Summer Goes.

While the majority of the photos are filled with plenty of  boobs and genitalia, the more modest shots below remind me of a children's book. "Falling Cornfield 1" especially feels like it was plucked from the pages of Where the Wild Things Are or The Jungle Book and I think "Fireworks 1" would look amazing in a living room.
