Weekend Cocktail #5: Pimms Cup

image If you like gin than you'll enjoy a Pimms cup.

Based around Pimms No.1, a classic British liqueur invented by the owner of an oyster bar in the 1840s, a Pimms cup is a classic cocktail meant to be enjoyed in warm weather.

Served in a narrow highball glass, this refreshing drink is finished with a cool cucumber garnish (added mint or citrus slices are also popular choices).

 Pimm's cup

  •    1 part Pimm's
  •    2 parts lemonade or gingerale
  •    cucumber spear
  •    optional: fruit slices and mint
  1. Mix Pimms and lemonade over ice. Garnish with cucumber and other fruit slices or mint.
